Process Control & Automation Engineer
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree – especially in Automatic Control and Computers University;
- Minimum 5 years experience in a project with medium and high CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) value, starting from the incipient phase until the commissioning phase;
- Knowledge in SIS – Safety Instrumented System;
- Knowledge in programming and configuration of a system from at least one manufacturer of: DCS, SCADA, PLC;
- Experience with FAT/SAT hardware inspection, control loop checking, start-up and commissioning activities;
- Advanced skills with Office 365 suite;
- Hands-on AutoCAD software.
- Candidate must be adaptable, good communicator, stress-resistant and able to work under pressure of deadlines;
- Foreign languages: English – advanced level;
- Availability for site visits.
Position propose:
- Basic & Detail Design Engineering activities for the assigned projects, following the Company’s established procedures;
- PLC Programming and DCS Configuration;
- Commissioning and Start-up activities;
- Interface with other disciplines, user departments and the Client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical support for control systems and process automation specifically related to DCS, PLC, SIS, Machine Monitoring Systems and Safety Systems;
- Support in P&ID development, during each project phase;
- Development of I/O list, during each project phase;
- Development of the material list and estimation of hours required for implementation;
- Integration of independent control systems from the mechanical equipment supplier’s packages;
- Develops alarms, history, trip, shutdown lists, functional block diagram (functional detail analysis), cause & effect diagrams, control system architecture, hardware & software configuration specifications, cabinet specifications (including cabinet drawings), graphics standards for HMI;
- Technical support in control system components selection, verify the conformity with client requirements and standards and check the technical specifications prepared for tenders by a third party;
- Preparing the procurement specifications and technical evaluation of the received offers;
- Check the supplier’s data to ensure that the technical specifications and requirements for a specific project are accomplished.
