Overview
Ludan Engineering delivered the complete engineering and sustainability solution for the development of a Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) production platform. The project supports CRH’s decarbonization strategy by enabling the substitution of fossil fuels with high-quality alternative fuels derived from non-hazardous waste.
Key achievements include:
- Design and integration of SRF processing systems for material reception, shredding, drying, and classification
- Environmental and regulatory compliance advisory aligned with Romanian and EU waste-to-energy frameworks
- Optimization of fuel quality parameters to meet kiln performance and emissions targets
